Normally I receive emails from this guy who makes incredible posters. The first email is about what will be sold and the date it goes on sale. The second email tells you that the item is now on sale (normally after it has been posted to the web). This time there was only an 'on sale' email.
What I normally do is hover around the site the day of the sale to try to buy because the posters normally sell out fast (less than a minute). I've only ever had the privilege to buy one of his posters because of the demand. Here is what I missed:

Me too. I really wanted it. When I got the email I was excited, then realized it was already on sale (aka sold out). They are on ebay for almost 3x what they were bought for.

Wow they totally jacked last years design. The three together sell for around $500... I will be purchasing the $5 copy.

I was really looking forward to getting one as well, nearly stayed up waiting for them to go on sale but figured I'd get one in the morning (Australian time). They'll probably be on eBay in a few hours with a 100% mark-up. There's a good chance I'll buy one anyway, they look awesome.

They are already on eBay ranging from 2.5-6x what they bought them from. It is really annoying how they get gouged. You really have to catch it at launch and then you have about a minute to two at most to snag one if it is popular. LOTR ones are completely impossible to get. They are gone in seconds.
